Producer Mike Chapman helped Lita Ford craft her true breakthrough album, Lita, loading it with big, slick arena rock/pop-metal hooks and making it her most consistent solo album. After leaving that band in the late 70's she cut a series of well received solo albums before finally achieving platinum status with the seminal 'Lita' issued in 1988. Includes one bonus track, a remixf her hit with Ozzy Osbourne 'Close My Eyes Forever'. As a founder member of seminal all gal band the Runaways, guitarist Lita Ford has never been averse to cranking out dangerous riffs and blinding lead guitar work. Ford scored big hits with "Kiss Me Deadly" and the ballad "Close My Eyes Forever," the latter a duet with Ozzy Osbourne and the first Top Ten single for either. The album also includes collaborations with then boyfried Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue), Lemmy (Motorhead) and producer Mike Chapman.
