Mick Jagger Biography
When Artist famously declared he didn't want to be singing "Satisfaction" at the age of 40, he probably didn't dream that he would still be performing it well into the 21st century--or that he would make solo records. Nevertheless, in 1985, tensions within the Rolling Stones led members to branch out, and Jagger enlisted some of his peers in rock royalty (including Pete Townshend and Jeff Beck) to make SHE'S THE BOSS. It didn't break much new ground, but the album rocked like the best of late-era Stones. On subsequent solo releases, Jagger broke away from the Stones formula a bit more but retained the unpredictable verve that made his band instantly legendary.
