| Keep On Workin' CD (1999)
Jesse Hoggard songs. Produced by Jim Gaines, this second album from the Memphis group follows strongly in the footsteps of their debut. Between Jesse Hoggard's down home guitar and Billy Gibson's harmonica, the group's sound is pure Memphis grit and muscle, amply fortified by the bass and drums of Kevin Sheahan and John Scalici. With everyone taking turns at the lead vocal chores and the wealth of original material, there's nary a boring moment to be found. With playing and writing this deep, we can only hope for more music of equal caliber from this promising new band. Highlights include "Arkansas Razorback," "Cadillac," "Tears," and "High and Dry." ~ Cub Koda
