Ziggy Marley Biography
The eldest son of the most famed reggae performer in history, Ziggy scored the first U.S. top 40 hit for the Marley name in 1988's upbeat "Tomorrow People" off his third album, CONSCIOUS PARTY. Surrounded by a backing band of family members collectively known as the Melody Makers, Artist carries on in Bob's tradition, composing and performing smooth, socially conscious roots reggae songs. A sought-after college performer, Marley kept his flame alive into the `00s on the well-received DRAGONFLY.
