| | Blind Before I Stop CD (1986)
$9.75 The mid-1980s spelled doom for most champions of '70s pomp rock, as MTV and radio fans seemed to be mesmerized by concise, synth-based pop ditties. Perhaps sensing that his sound had become passe, Meat Loaf attempted to keep pace with

| Rocky Horror Picture Show DVD (1975) Widescreen
$10.29 THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW is a magical phenomenon unlike anything ever before seen onscreen. Borrowing largely from cinema's horror conventions, the film begins as an innocent young couple is stranded at the home of a mad scientist who is

| Very Best Of Meat Loaf CDs (1998)
$14.89 While Meat Loaf?s previous anthology, 1984?s HITS OUT OF HELL, contained most of the radio hits you?d expect from the first part of his career, it obviously didn?t contain any selections from his mid-'90s "second coming" (with BAT OUT HELL

| Couldn't Have Said It Better CD (2003) Enhanced CD
$8.69 Even as he edges gingerly into his late 50s, Meat Loaf seems doggedly determined not to go gently into that good night of tastefully tamed-down middle-aged rockers. He's always been about the larger-than-life musical gesture, and COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT
|
| Bat Out Of Hell CD (1977) Remastered
$7.79 Pomp and circumstance of the grandest order for the multi-platinum Meat Loaf and his songwriting mentor, Jim Steinman. The grandiose intro to the title track was indication enough of the tone of the album, with songs stretching out over what

| Meat Loaf - 3 Bats Live DVD (2007) DTS Sound
$15.99 The only thing larger than a studio recording of Meat Loaf's epic sound is a live performance featuring his theater-trained voice. 3 BATS LIVE finds the booming balladeer on stage, singing songs from his three BAT OUT OF HELL albums,

| Dead Ringer CD (1981)
$6.09 When Meat Loaf burst on the rock scene in 1978 with BAT OUT OF HELL, he seemed rather sui generis. Few bands of the era had let theatrics seep into their music as thoroughly as Meat Loaf did (though credit

| Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose CD (2006)
$15.49 Nearly three decades after 1977's BAT OUT OF HELL, and 13 years after its sequel, BACK INTO HELL, Meat Loaf unleashed BAT OUT OF HELL III: THE MONSTER IS LOOSE. While the album was reportedly bogged down in legal disputes

 Meat Loaf Biography
Who would have ever thought that opera-rock fronted by a 300 pound-plus singer would equal massive chart success worldwide? That's exactly what happened with Marvin Aday, better known as Artist. Along with collaborator/producer Jim Steinman, he created one of rock's biggest and most enduring albums--1977's epic BAT OUT OF HELL. Combining a theater-trained voice as big as his frame (he'd previously acted and sung in ROCK HORROR PICTURE SHOW among others) with Springsteen-plus arena-rock production, Artist took the world by storm, but faded away shortly thereafter. His massive comeback 16 years later with BAT OUT OF HELL II was a storybook ending that caught the music industry by surprise and earned the singer a Grammy award.
