A new transplant to Arizona, having recently relocated to Phoenix from New York, Roberts was eager to find a group of musicians that would be able to deliver his visions to reality. Roberts' passionate vocal delivery and masterful lyrics are extremely complemented by the top notch musicianship of his band. He found these qualities in the Full Well Studios session band, The Plump Tones. Country singer/songwriter Danny Roberts recently completed the recording of his debut CD at Full Well Recording Studio in Phoenix Arizona. The Plump Tones feature Jimi Powers on guitars and vocals, Phil Janzen on drums and percussion, Jeff Leece on bass guitar, Wilson Gillette on Pedal Steel guitar, and Mindy Nilson and Kristen Gillette on backing vocals.
