Henry Rollins Biography
Though he's best known as a rocker in 1980s punk pioneers Black Flag and his own Artist Band, Artist is quite the post-punk renaissance man. He's an author, actor, writer, head of his own record label and publishing company, and one of the most popular spoken-word performers around. His 1990s and early-21st-century spoken-word stage shows and recordings combine the anger found in his music with trenchant, often funny, socio-political insights.
