Seek CD (2009)
Jason Silver discography. These songs have been part of other private projects I've done in the past, but now have been brought together and remastered so the general public can enjoy. I hope you find something meaningful among the lyrics and melodies I've created. |

Christmas Songs CD (2009)
Jason Silver songs. Jason Silver arranged all of these Carols, played all the instruments, recorded all the tracks, and did all the artwork. (Now I'm going to get some sleep).
Special thanks to my sister, Melanie Beckwith who sings those beautiful harmonies, and keeps me laughing! Thanks to my wife for pushing me to make a Christmas CD for the last three years. This album is dedicated to you. I love you.
Thanks to my patient family who had to be very quiet when the mics were on. No small feat, for four children and a dog.
For those interested in this kind of stuff, I use N-Track software to record, ART mics and preamps, a Washburn bass, an old Schumann piano, a Westbury drum kit, homemade penny whistles, a Dillion acoustic guitar, and a Korg keyboard. |

Moving On Again: Instrumental Improvisations CD (2007)
Jason Silver CD discography. Jason Silver is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, specializing in piano, but also skilled in guitar, bass, drums, and other instruments. He's been a full-time professional musician since 1993, working with a range of highly-regarded studio session players, Canadian artists like Johnannes Linstead and Night Sun, Broadway musicians in New York city, and even arranged and written music for the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, in Kingston, Ontario.
Jason was influenced as a child by the music of his parents; bands like Blood, Sweat and Tears, Harry Chapin, and Tom T. Hall. He continued to grow musically as a young man by listening to Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkle, The Eagles, Chicago, and tacky, eighties synth-pop groups.
Today his main inspiration for both music and lyrics comes from groups like Chicago, U2, Sting, and Creed. He has performed across the United States and Canada but mainly plays local venues in Hamilton, Ontario. Jason Silver records his own music in his home studio, and markets it online. |
