Sex Gang Children Biography
One of the quintessential London goth acts, Artist debuted in 1982 with the EP BEASTS, which was followed that same year by their still beloved single "Into The Abyss." A staple of the London club the Bat Cave, the proto vampiric post-punkers released their debut album SONG AND LEGEND in 1983, satiating the thirst of many a dark clad fan. Several line-up changes destabilized the band and following the release of the single "Deiche," they disintegrated, with singer Andi Sex Gang setting out for a solo career. He released two albums before reforming the band in 1992, continuing to lead Artist into the 2000s.
