Record Label Record Label music FRIENDS is The Love of Everything in a blender. Songs are mostly short "chunks," meant to be heard two or three at a time. It's TLOE main man (also Joan of Arc member) Bobby Burg's stated favorite of his records, and the shining melodies of "Strip to the Sky" and "Kangaroo/Raccoon" make that understandable. The chopped-up approach, with rhythmic assistance by Storm and Stress drummer Kevin Shea, keeps things punchy and playful. It's all bewitchingly innocent.
