$7.05 In a world with so many music choices, is there anything more satisfying for parents than introducing a toddler to the great works of Beethoven? 119. These remarkable miniatures are such fanciful and cheerful works, qualities that are all the more surprising given they were composed late in the composer's final, turbulent years. Beethoven's bagatelles are represented by the first three selections from the composer's Op. We then return to early Beethoven with the joyful romp of his Allegro from the Quintet for Piano and Winds. Next is the resplendent evocation of nature in the "Scene by the Brook" from the Sixth Symphony, which is then sensibly followed by the jocular and playful Tempo di Menuetto from the Septet for Strings and Winds. Appropriately, the CD opens with the composer's most beguiling tune, 'Fur Elise', which receives a sensitive performance by Carol Rosenberger. Here is the ideal compilation for all tykes, and no doubt, a stepping stone for future great composers!
