If the album cover makes you cringe wait till you listen to the music.A mix of studio and live tracks that were previously unreleased from THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION.This is truly an amazing record,with some great guitar work from Frank,and Underwood is all over this release.A must have for Zappa fans.

Take a hit a drink and a tab and enjoy.. This is what happens when a gang of freaks playes there not so smooth style of jazz.. shocking at first but it WILL grow on you..

The Mothers Of Invention includes: Frank Zappa (vocals, guitar, organ); Sugar Cane Harris (violin); Ian Underwood, Don Preston (piano). BURNT WEENY SANDWICH would be Frank Zappa's last album released in the Sixties (December of 1969, to be exact). Having just split up the original Mothers of Invention line-up, Zappa decided to sift through tapes of unused tracks by the band, which ultimately comprised BURNT WEENY SANDWICH (another compilation of outtakes, WEASELS RIPPED MY FLESH, would be issued one year later).
