| | Half Japanese Bone Head CD Half Japanese Discography of CDs
After nearly two decades of recording, Half Japanese released this 20 song 1997 album featuring the stable '90s line-up of Jad Fair, John Sluggett and Gilles Rieder, along with a couple guest guitarists. All of Jad's usual themes are here, from the mock-horror of "Monkey Hand" and the appearance of Frankenstein in "Sometimes" to the wide-eyed romanticism of "A Night Like This," "Song Of Joy," and "Brand New Sky."
There are also some furious grooves, including the aforementioned "Sometimes" (positively, head-spinningly hypnotic, and guitarist Sluggett takes a turn on the piano which will stop you in your tracks) and "Zombie Eye" (which would be a good song to play anyone who thinks Half Japanese is overly primitive and noisy). The sound quality is sharp, capturing the live feeling of Jad and the band, while also heightening the definition of each instrument.

This second disc from this group is at once familiar and at the same time shows many new facets of this metamorphosing group. They have the feel of a Counting Crows-meets-Webb Wilder & the Beatnecks, playing with some outlaw country ideas. The country (they seem to hate that label) flavor comes from their harmonies and their use of instruments like the lap steel (to great effect), banjo, mandolin, and fiddle -- plus, on one cut, Peter Rowan contributes his distinctive mandola. This disc starts off with a familiar-sounding song, "Paperthin," then moves away from the familiar gradually, not taking any giant steps but ...

Bone Head songs
$15.59 This is the debut album by Vision, a Finnish metal band led by guitarist Lars Eric Mattsson.
In 1992 after having released 3 solo albums guitarist Lars Eric Mattsson decided it was time for a change. The singer of his 2 first albums, Tosse Jansson had left the band as Lars was recording his 1991 album which the all instrumental "Electric Voodoo". Bone Head CD music
$15.19 With over two decades of songwriting under his belt and 3 records, Doug Ploss continues to crank out his own unique brand of Americana music. Saying it like it's never been said before is a challenge for songwriters, but Doug somehow comes up with lyrical content and phrasing that always seem to have a fresh attitude. Doug and wife Tricia have performed in many different venues and churches over the years, bringing their very real and raw sound to the table. Doug's "TAR CITY" album, released in 2004, makes a mockery of empty religion and and strikes a cord within the European radio market. Many cuts from "TAR CITY" found their way into over 100 euro ...
