By far the best Slipknot album out there, and shockingly original, despite mediocre reviews Slipknot is one of the best new metal albums today.

WHOA!
This album rocks! It starts out with the song sic, and it was an awsome way to start off the album. It also has really good songs like wait and bleed and spit it out! There are other really good songs on this album like surfacing, eyeless, and me inside. Any SlipKnoT fan will love this album. Once you listen to it, you gotta have more! ~ Catch ya later you sic maggots!

Larger than Life...
These guys are absolutely amazing. Intensity and a flair for macabre showmanship should vault this project to the nu-metal forefront. For any who have not yet witnessed this band at work: Think of inmates from a criminally insane institution taking over the asylum and then making a soundtrack. If agression, dark-humor, and severely traumatizing masks are your thing, you really should check this out.

mind-blowing.
for a debut album, Slipknot's self-titled release really stands out from other 90's nu-metal bands, like Korn and Limp Bizkit. With memorial song such as (sic), Wait and Bleed, Spit it Out, and Purity, this album is one of the most unique and more defining albums of all time. The only let down I found on this album was that eyeless was a bit repetitive and to really appreciate Tattered and Torn you have to listen to it many times. But all and all, this album is a good investment for any metal fans.

slipknots best
this is slipknots best cd in my opinion.My favorite songs are (sic),wait and bleed,spit it out,and scissors.All the songs are great,but those are the best.Coreys vocals are great.
