"Superbeast" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.
From the dark and twistedly clever mind of Rob Zombie, HELLBILLY DELUXE is an interesting concoction of industrial metal and hard rock. Throw in B-movie obsessions, brilliant, comic book-type art and fantasy-derived lyrics and you'll just begin to scratch the surface of what makes Rob Zombie tick. A throw back to the days of classic album cover art, HELLBILLY DELUXE contains a 24-page CD booklet with drawings and artwork from Zombie. "I grew up in the heyday of cool record packaging. Now, you open the record and you get nothing. I always feel cheated," said Zombie. Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee makes an appearance on two songs ("Resurrection Joe" and "Meet the Creeper"). Other tracks that show Zombie's mastery of shock-rock are "Superbeast," "Demonoid Phenomenon" and "What Lurks on Channel X." Fans of Zombie's previous albums will not be disappointed by this horror-core creation.

Hellbilly Deluxe Music Review
Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) List All 20 Reviews Snap, This Is A Good Album Man this cd's sweet. Superbeast, Dragula, and Living Dead Girl are the best tracks. The overlooked songs on this record are Demonoid Phenomenon, Spookshow Baby, Meet the Creeper, and The Ballad of Resurrection Joe and Rosa Whore. Rob provides great vocals and he's got a great back-up band to go with him. Hellbilly deluxe is better than all 3 White Zombie albums. And it's also better than The Sinister Urge, which came out 3 years after this album. I cannot wait for his next album, because it's a sure thing that it wont disappoint. ZOMBIE ROCKS I love this cd from start to finish. Nothing bad here at all. It is really hard to pick a favorite song here, but Living Dead Girl stands out maby a little more than the rest. There is nothing Zombie has ever released that is bad, but this is a great place to start if you are just getting into the SUPERBEAST. Submitted by a reviewer (Muncie, IN.
