Eric Serra's score to Luc Besson's visionary yet incomprehensible sci-fi thriller The Fifth Element is a roller coaster of emotions, ranging from triumphant anthems to haunting mood pieces. Serra's score is diverse and accomplished, and it is just as effective outside of the film as it is within it. ~ Rodney Batdorf

Not all I'd hoped for The soundtrack to The 5th Element left just a little to be desired. Haunting tones were there... but fleeting. Genuine themes were there but not as 'full length' as would have been expected. All in all, I'm glad for the purchase and feel it was worth the price. For fans of The 5th Element, I recommend this CD. After all... it's the only 5th Element soundtrack around, right? Submitted by James (Flower Mound, TX) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
