Brahms: Quintet In F/Schumann: Quintet In E
$21.19 Kicking off that phenomenally successful year, in January 2008, Sarah Brightman recorded and filmed Symphony -- Live in Vienna within the mystical walls of Stephansdome Cathedral in the heart of where classical music evolved -- Vienna, Austria. Renowned for its awe-inspiring Gothic architecture, the cathedral was the perfect setting to enter the magical world of Symphony lead by the voice of the beautiful, gothic-angel. The concert includes repertoire from her album Symphony and some of her most popular songs ('Phantom of the Opera,' 'Time to Say Goodbye'). Fans can own the live material in this DVD/CD set. Included are duets with Alessandro Safina, Chris Thompson, and Fernando Lima.

$11.35 | | 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best Of Nana Mouskouri CD (2006)
Brahms: Quintet In F/Schumann: Quintet In E
$6.75 It is no exaggeration to state that Nana Mouskouri is a global superstar. With record sales in the multi-millions, an unflagging popularity in Europe, North America, and elsewhere, and a repertoire that spans a thousand songs in a variety of languages, it's hard to find an artist with more across-the-board (or border, as it were) success.
At 15 tracks, the scope of this 20TH CENTURY MASTERS collection is pretty small, so this best-of set ends up making a molehill out of a mountain. Even so, this is a fine, economical introduction to the singer, featuring string-heavy French ballads ("Plaisir D'Amour"), country-tinged pop ("The White Rose of Athens"), and American pop and rock ("Love Me Tender;" "Bridge Over Troubled Water"), with Mouskouri's high, clear soprano ringing throughout.
