 He was the Crown Jewel of Jazz
Even 26 years after his passing, his music is still very much enjoyed. His last recordings exemplify the genius of his artistry.

 Evans:Creative genius to the end
This cd clearly demonstrates Bill Evan's lifelong pursuit of creative harmony and his ability to explode his heart through every singing note. The crescendo of his brilliance shines on even in the last two weeks of his waning life.

 the sound of"BILL EVANS"
If sound is the Essence of music, no artist created better music than BILL EVANS. The sheer beauty of his playing,on this album transcends categorization ,it is just magnificent and I would measure it against any music ever.

 Incandescent
In this his final recordings, Bill Evans is burning himself up. This trio is equal to the great 1st trio and for driving power surpasses it. Sound recording quality is not as good as The Final Village Vanguard but that is more then made up for by the better piano. Another 3Cds of material from these sessions are available on a German label and are worth chasing down.
