Perhaps more than any other non-Cuban musician, Oscar D'Leon has perfected the sound of the son. This album is testament to that fact, documenting on two discs a live concert in a New York nightclub. Throughout several decades D'Leon has perfected his live act, and this album pays tribute to many of the musicians who have influenced him over the years, including Beny More and Andy Montanez.
