Country Music Hall Of Fame 1978 songs
$9.85 My name is Michael Francis; I was born and raised In beautiful sunny Tucson Arizona. I am the younger of two children and have been blessed to have the great people in my life. To this day my father is my best friend and I cherish the times we have spent together both good and bad, I hope that somehow someday I can repay both my dad and step mother for all they have done for me. I have the two great children, my daughter Heather and my son Michael. God has truly blessed me with these two gifts. They each bring different talents and personalities to my world and I thank God for them.I have grown up singing I remember hearing my mother who still has a beautiful voice singing constantly. She has had such an influence on me. I still remember in kindergarten singing to the girls along with my teacher in the playground. Yep it started way back then.....I was singing in every school and church program and then after a lot of encouragement by my Grandmother I joined my church choir in high school. I then became a featured soloist for church services and in all the choir programs for every holiday season. My sister Penny got me listening to country music when I was in high school and soon after we decided it would be easy to write a country song so we sat down one day and wrote, "I'm a Rodeo Cowboy" The rest is history. Soon I was attending rodeos and singing at the after parties. I even tried the team roping and to this day love it all even though I wasn't very good. It is a blast. I still get a rope in my hand on occasion.I have performed at many events in southern Arizona. I won a huge talent contest in the Phoenix area and have been featured on several local TV shows. One of the best times I have ever had was being involved on the first Nashville Star. It was a great experience and even though I didn't go all the way I made it to the regional finals. What a great experience. I am looking forward to the future and all God has for me. I love performing be it around a campfire or on stage I thank you and God bless you.Michael FrancisSONG INFORMATION---MICHAEL FRANCIS KIM CD 100The TunesThere is a great, up-tempo, gospel flavor to the song, "HIT MY KNEES A'RUNNIN'', Strong downbeat with church organ, "EYES OF LOVE", a smooth ballad of love. "I HATE MY MAILBOX", a humorous song about how we hate to go to the mailbox, just to receive those bills and junk mail. "REMEMBER ME", tells the story of the separation of daughter and daddy, and not forgetting the love that binds them together. "(SO THIS IS) HAPPY HOUR", takes us to the clubs and bars, with a great dance beat, this song is classic happy hour experience. "THANK YOU COWBOY (Tribute to Chris LaDoux)", a moderate tempo tune about Chris LaDoux, from rodeo to his music, and missing him. A gentle love ballad is heard in, "A GENTLE KISS", as you wake up beside the one you love. The fast paced, "GOING BACK TO TEXAS", is one of those you done me wrong, I'm going home tunes, with a line dance, and pulsating beat. If you love the rodeo, as Michael did, the song "I LOVE THIS LIFE I'M LIVIN'", will take you through the hard life of a rodeo cowboy. "BED OF ROSES", slows things down with a ballad, of a special love. This is followed by a country-jazz-blues tune called, "SLOW DANCIN", ...
