The Adventures of the O.C. Supertones is a predictable set of ska-punk, meaning that the band and its songs are fairly pedestrian but they have enough energy to keep a party hopping. That doesn't necessarily make for a good record -- you need to have memorable songs or hooks, and the O.C. Supertones simply don't. However, this is a fairly kinetic, energetic record that will satisfy die-hard ska-core followers. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
