Era's eponymous debut album may be a little too similar to Enigma for some tastes, but Eric Levi is a skilled producer who's capable of making engaging soundscapes. So even if Era doesn't sound groundbreaking, it doesn't sound bad either, and anyone who likes the hypnotic classical-dance fusion sound that was all the rage in the early '90s will find this quite entertaining. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

4 stars WILL NOT DISAPPOINT
This really is a great cd!. It follows in the Enigma/Deep Forest musical composition. It flows so smoothly that you fall victim to it's beautifull melodies...and you don't want it to ever end!! This is a MUST HAVE cd!!...you will not be disappointed.

4 stars You have to be in the right mood!
Gregorian style chanting, mixed with 80's rock solos and smooth bom bom cha beats, wow, what a combination! Who would have guessed it would work! The Guitar in track 11 is straight out of "Top Gun", poor Goose... You need to be in a certain mood for it though.
