I have heard many many different kinds of music and musicians, but the adrenalin level opens up only on a Barry White album. I truly believe he is the God of love n music. Not one song i feel he has ever created that one would want to skip at any point of time n mood. His exceptional quality of music and delivery is unbeatable. This is a special album as this is where Barry excelled in composing exceptionally brilliant music and this is what he always wanted to do with his bandmates. Surprisingly, a genius with a baritone voice was never interested in mainstream music, n everything he created was still a masterpiece. Thank you Barry for giving us such a wonderful piece of Art.

 An album to leave you in ecstacy
There is a story behind purchasing this album. I started thinking about it when a track on White Gold, Barry's follow up to this, Spanish Lei, popped into my head a few weeks ago and I could not get rid of it! Sadly the only copy I have of this and Rhapsody in White are rather worn out cassettes and my car now has a CD. I searched high and low for them on the internet and good old CD Universe came up with the goods at the right price...and it is just great! Love's Theme is an eternal classic, you only have to listen to this to appreciate what a multi-talented man Barry White was. As a postscript, and this is rather spooky, I ordered this CD, and the companion album White Gold, on line the very day that he died. Sends shivers down the spine..
