I love Cinderella....
...And this album is excellent. I listen to it aaaalll the time and it's really cool. Really cool and its really great. Good 80's stuff.

FIrst off, ignore the ridiculous cover photo. This is CInderella's most straightforward, no-frills album. At this point, they're pretty much basic East Coast hard rock, with that AC/DC-influenced sound also used by the likes of Kix, DIrty Looks, Britny Fox, and others. There are only flashes of the creativity they'd show on later releases, but Night Songs is a very consistent album with strong songs, good (but not flashy) musicians, and the singular Tom Keifer. Oh yeah, and "Back Home Again" is a very overlooked song.

The third installment in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series. In a medical facility, seven teenagers who have constant nightmares about child murderer Freddy Krueger undergo monitoring for sleep disorders. But nothing that anyone does seems to help them -- until Nancy Thompson, the heroine of the first movie, joins the medical staff. She suggests that they try a new drug, which inhibits dreaming, on the youngsters. The gullible doctor-in-charge opposes this treatment, forcing Nancy to fight both him and a suspicious nurse in order to save the teens. Meanwhile, Freddy gleefully unleashes one horror-filled image after another to traumatize the patients ... till they fear that this is one nightmare they'll never wake up from again.

As self-referential as Craven's SCREAM movies, but much more serious and creepy. Some scenes shot on location near the aftermath of the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
