Malmsteen...POP???
I'm a huge Malmsteen fan, but other than his first two releases, I haven't been able to stomach anything else that he has put out. Although, I haven't heard Trilogy yet. He should not do pop!!!

Worth a keep in your collection!
Joe Lynn Turner delivers. Yngwie Malmsteen makes me shivers. Absolutely a great combination.

Best album of Yngwie
because with him worked Joe Lynn Turner. It is the best release of Malmsteen. I give 4,5.

Not bad!
Although it was a mega hit when it came out, it was no where close to his two previous albums - "Marching Out" and "Trilogy". Yangie used popular vocalist like Joe Lynn Turner (already famous for his role in the band Rainbow) in this album, but he didn't look impressive with Yangie. Joe was just okay. I think only 3 songs of this albums are good - "Rising Force", "Hold On" & "Dreaming" - others are all below average.

Starting to get old!
No question that Yngwie is an incredible guitarist, but this one is when it was starting to get old! Yngwie is capable of so much more but he just can't get over himself. He wants to be Richie Blackmore so bad it's unhealthy! I mean, Joey Lynn Turner???!! C'mon, isn't it obvious? "Heaven Tonight" just plain sucks. It's all great guitar playing but it's nothing new, no growth, no steps forward, no new sounds. I'm sorry to be so negative but Yngwie from this point until today is a broken record! Compare him to all the other greats. Everyone has grown and matured except him! Kinda reminds me of Spinal Tap sorry to say.
