weakest? quite the opposite
The biggest disadvantage of this album is that it came right after Odyssey, which undoubtedly has been his peak so far. I love this album soundwise, musicwise and most of all I love Göran Edman's voice, the same applies for Fire and Ice. For this reason I quite loath The Seventh Sign, the singer was a failure. Eclipse is my second favourite.

Great Cd!
I typically listen to Yngwie about seven hours a day and this is one of my favourite cds. The singer Göran Edman works great with Yngwie, my favourite so far. He sure beats Tim "Ripper" Owens who is on Yngwie's latest release at the time of this review on Perpetual Flame. It is a great place for a new Yngwie fan to start, contrary to another review. Great catchy tunes and great playing by Yngwie.

Great performance, Not so Heavy sounding.
I believe that while stepping a litle out of his normal style, Yngwie delivered a great work. It is very accesible to any heavy-pop metal fan, but definitely is not a traditional Yngwie's work. It is still a great album.

Yngwie's weakest
Hard for me to say this, since I love Yngiwe's music so much, but in my opinion Eclipse is probably Yngwie's weakest album. I know a lot of fans will disagree with me here! It's still worth buying, but not a good place for a new fan to start.
