Californian Richard Goldman is a one-man pop army. Writing, singing and playing virtually everything on GIRLS N' COWS himself, he displays a rapier-like wit easily matched by his cunning pop sensibilities. Goldman's outrageous sense of humor permeates every track, no matter what the setting of the song. From the twisted country of "The Good Years" to the twisted folk of "Zsa Zsa" to the twisted pop of "Elevator Music," Goldman turns the ears and mind of the listener inside out several times during the course of a song.

I was born on December 18, 1970, in Miami Florida, to Lenora and Gus Dorsey. I started performing at the age of 2 in my living room with a mister microphone and the furniture as my audience. I later played the drums in the church and sang in the church choir. My first big performance was at the Savannah Civic Center in 1986, but I knew something was missing. I later toured in Germany (1992) and Korea (1999) and had a very successful run, but I knew something was missing. As you can see I have been making music since I was knee high to a duck; However, I have recently decided to only make music that is inspirational to the young and old soul and promote THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.I spent many years writing and performing music that was inappropriate. During this time of rebellion, I battled with good and evil over the type of music I wanted to play. One day my soul hit rock bottom and the devil lost the battle. As African Americans, I personally feel that we, as a people, have abandoned our culture and spiritual connection with God for the bling bling.
