JUST SAY NO TO MASS MEDIOCRITY!!
When the progressive rock of the late 60's and early 70's degenerated into the corporate schlock of the late 70's and 80's, Journey was there to lead the way. Two-thirds of this record is garbage. Of course, nothing is included from the first two albums, when Journey was a progressive band descended from Santana. Neal Schon became more bombastic as the years went by. Didn't he learn anything about subtlety from Carlos? Steve Perry was big with teenage girls because that's what he sounds like. These so-called "hits" are opium dope for the masses.
