EMOTIONS, the 1991 chart-topping release from dance/pop chanteuse Mariah Carey, showed the world that she would have no sophomore slump. With her knack for writing hit material, Carey turned out a few smashes off of this release. The title cut was #1 on the Billboard chart for three weeks. Mariah sings her heart out on the power ballad "Can't Let Go," which went to #2 in early '92. Her distinctive multi-octave range allows her to manipulate casual dance/pop melodies, making them soar.

Yet another awesome album from Mariah. Vocally, it's one of her best! The album is 15 years old & still rocks just as much as ever. She was a strong sense of empowerment & a voice that won't quit! I just wish there were more than 10 songs on it! Best songs on the album I'd have to say would be
"Emotions," "Can't Let Go," "Make it Happen," "So Blessed," & "You're so Cold."

This is MC's sophmore release, the first time I heard "Make It Happen", that song blew me away, I was really impressed with how she wrote the lyrics and her vocals, expecially with "Emotions", the high note she made was absolutely amazing, pretty good record, love the inside pic of Mariah!!! I gave this record two thumbs up and five stars, yep yep yep!!!
