Great Civil War era music I have this album on cassette tape. It is many years old and starting to wear out it has taken a long time to try and hunt down a copy of this album on CD. Finally found CD Universe had it and do plan on getting this. It is by far an outstanding collection of songs from the civil war era with an all star collection of music artists appearing on this album. Hoyt Axton, Judy Collins, Waylon Jennings, Richie Havens, Sweet Honey In The Rock are among the artists who appear here. Like the reviewer from Spain Lorena is my favorite songs from that era. It is an interesting song in that it was one of the very few songs from the Civil War that was popular among both the north and south troops. John Hartfords' rendition of this song is the absolute best version of Lorena I have ever heard. If you are someone into history and music this is one album I recommend you get.
