A great movie and even better album. Some awesome songwriting here. Very heartfelt - Classic Willie A must for all Willie fans, and those who enjoy traditional country.

 Red Headed Classic
This is the Greatest Country Album every recorded. There was nothing like it before and nothing like it since. That is a classic.

My mom bought this in the late seventies for the single, "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain", and stumbled across a great album. It's a concept album, telling a story of a cowboy running from his tragic past, and the adventures he gets into. The theme is sad, but this is not a depressing album. Willie's voice is graceful throughout, especially sweet in track 12,"Can I sleep In Your Arms Tonight Liz?" Recorded in 1975 for $20K of Willie's own money, this one is a gem.

 amazing!
a great all-around album. willie and trigger really make this album a hit. this is no doubt one of my favorite albums....of any artist. a big plus to any collection of willie albums.
