"I Don't Want To Change The World" won the 1994 Grammy Award for "Best Metal Performance With Vocal."

Billed as his final solo tour, Ozzy Osbourne's world tour in support of his 1991 hit album NO MORE TEARS was one of his most successful. To document this exceptional tour, a live double CD of standout performances was released in 1993, LIVE & LOUD. While Ozzy would tour again (as both a solo act and with a reformed Black Sabbath), this particular road jaunt would prove to be the last for the Osbourne-Wylde-Inez-Castillo line-up.

Comprised of favorites from both his solo career and his Black Sabbath years, LIVE & LOUD is a well-balanced set. The set kicks off with a roaring version of "Paranoid," and the energy rarely dies down from there. Standouts like "I Don't Know," "Bark at the Moon," "Shot in the Dark," "Miracle Man," "Crazy Train," "No More Tears," "Flying High Again," "Suicide Solution," "Road to Nowhere," and "Crazy Train" are included. Several other Sabbath tunes are featured ("War Pigs" and the ballad "Changes"), as well as a version of "Black Sabbath" that is performed by the original Sabbath line-up. LIVE AND LOUD is another solid live Ozzy set.

All tracks have been digitally remastered.

5 stars OZZY RULZZZZZ
Ozzy is at his finest on this live recording. Having seen him with Randy and Jake, and Zakk, Ozzy's voice is as strong as ever and although Zakk is no Randy Rhoades he is far superior than Jake could ever hope to be....anyone know whatever happened to Jake? Anyway, if you're an Ozzy fan this is a must have!!! A classic CD!!!

4 stars 2 words, Mr. Crowley!
This is classic Ozzy at his best! Although there are a few tracks that are a little out of synch at times, the overall experience of this album more than makes up for it. I would buy this album soley for the amazing version of Mr. Crowley, but Ozzy hits a chord with Road to Nowhere and Mamma I'm Coming Home as well. It's a little rough around the edges, but that's what live music is all about!

4 stars Ozzy Rocks
This cd is really good. Zakk does a great job of playing new and classic Ozzy. I still think that he isnt half the musician Randy was because Randy wrote the best music. Another album that is awsome is the Tribute album.

5 stars RANDY RHOADS IS GOD
Both of you are wrong. Randy Rhoads was a much better guitarist than Zakk Wylde I suggest you buy "Tribute" and you'll see what I mean

Digitally remastered by Brian Lee and Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering Studios, Inc.). Although Ozzy Osbourne received enormous commercial success with 1986's THE ULTIMATE SIN, his detour into glam metal proved unsatisfying for both Osbourne and his fans. Osbourne spent most of 1987 readying his postponed live album with Randy Rhoads for release, TRIBUTE, and pondering his future musical direction. He elected to return to the kind of music that got him where he was in the first place--loud, unapologetic heavy metal. He also decided to replace guitarist Jake E. Lee with a young newcomer from New Jersey, Zakk Wylde, for 1989's NO REST FOR THE WICKED. Wylde had been a lifelong Ozzy/Sabbath fan, and resembled Randy Rhoads both in appearance and in playing style. While the album is not on par with such past classics as BLIZZARD OF OZ and DIARY OF A MADMAN, NO ...

Also available in a 3-pack with DIARY OF A MADMAN and THE ULTIMATE SIN. The 1982 death of Randy Rhoads was a crushing blow for Ozzy Osbourne--not only did he lose one of the very best rock guitarists of all time, but he lost a dear friend, song collaborator, and a founding member of his solo band. But to Ozzy's credit, he somehow summoned the strength to soldier on. For his first studio album since Randy's death, 1983's BARK AT THE MOON, Osbourne discovered another gifted young player from California, Jake E. Lee. The album was another big hit, and eventually reached platinum certification. The album's accompanying tour, which featured openers Motley Crue, was a success as well. The album opening title track has become a fan favorite and concert staple over the years, and remains one of Ozzy's most furious rockers. Other highlights include "Rock n' Roll Rebel," as well ...

Released in September 1982, DEVIL is Ozzy's third solo album and first live one. Recorded at NYC's Ritz, it closes a chapter in Ozzy's career with an all-Black Sabbath set, actually competing against his former bandmates as they released LIVE EVIL just a few months later. Ozzy's performance is as spirited as ever, and the Sabbath classics come across tight and rock solid. Opening with "Symptom Of The Universe," one of the finest metal compositions ever, the album pulls you into Ozzy's wacky and twisted world for the duration of the show. This remastered edition (with superb clarity) features the previously omitted "Sweet Leaf," ...

Also available in a 3-pack with DIARY OF A MADMAN and BARK AT THE MOON. Ozzy Osbourne's 1983 release, BARK AT THE MOON, revealed that keyboards were becoming an integral ingredient in his music. On his next release, THE ULTIMATE SIN, keyboards were used even more extensively, resulting in Ozzy's most commercially accessible work. Despite the fact that many longtime fans resented the ...

Live & Loud album
CD $17.59  4.5 stars Top 500 Audio Samples
Digitally remastered by Chris Gehringer (The Hit Factory, New York, New York). This release includes a bonus DVD featuring live footage and commentary from King Diamond. Widely recognized as King Diamond's solo masterpiece, Abigail is also unquestionably one of heavy metal's greatest concept albums. A passion for dark-themed theatrics had always qualified the work of the man formerly known as Kim Bendix Petersen before this release, and yet his band's debut from two years prior had merely hinted at the conceptual ambitions yet to come. So turn out the houselights, draw the curtains, and listen closely as King Diamond's synthetically altered voice introduces us to the witch Abigail La'Fey (in an obvious tribute to Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan) through -- fittingly enough -- her "Funeral." Moments later, proper musical opener "Arrival" introduces the familiar post-metal, semi-thrashing style over which Diamond will narrate his spine-tingling tale of horror, a tale which, in the process, conjures ...
