Four years after their debut, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony prove that they're still the most unique group in hip-hop. This double-CD encompasses elements of both rap and R&B. Keeping it real is a high priority, as the four rappers/singers, Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone & Bizzy Bone address such weighty subjects as life, death and God, topics that too many rappers tend to avoid. THE ART OF WAR also shows a softer side to Bone Thugs than their previous albums. On "It's All Real," a track that's more sung than rapped, they explain how the life they describe on record is truly their day-to-day reality. "If I Could Teach The World" and "Look Into My Eyes" are ballads that contain subtle positive messages.

This is easily up in the top 5 Rap Double-Albums of all-time. Is it their best album? It is a more "WARRIOR" version of E.1999, the beats are more aggressive, as are the lyrics, and the Flow/Delivery will NEVER been seen/heard again, by anyone. the only one(s) who could top this, is Bone themselves. If youdon't have this, or have NEVER heard this, you CAN'T be a serious fan of Hip-hop/Rap....my Favorites? "Let Tha Law End"; "Thug Luv"; "All Original"; Neighborhood Slang"; Ready For War"; "Handle The Vibe"; "Look Into My Eyes".....ah, u know what, I love them all!!!!!

Art of War has to be mentioned in the category one the greatest rap albums of all time. I just finished Cd 1.

"Art of War" is one of Bone's best albums. 23 tracks (minus 5 interludes) full of the Bones distinct flows, all produced by the group's biggest collaborator, DJ U-Neek. "Thug Luv" w/ 2Pac is a definite fan favorite, of both Bone and Pac fans alike. "Handle the Vibe", "All Original", "Ain't Nothin' Changed", "Wasteland Warriors", I mean, nuthin' but raw material. The singles "Look Into My Eyez", "If I Could Teach...", & "Body Rott", all tight. This album also featured the first Bone solo tracks. Krayzie's "It's All Real", Layzie's "Mind of a Souljah", Bizzy's "7 Sign" (feat. Maje$ty), & Wish's only solo track "Get Cha Thug On". The 4 Bones (along with a then free Flesh-N-Bone) followed up the success of "Crossroads" in the right way, and did it big in '97.

A two disc album and every song is great. This is rap at its best. Bone thugs and harmony are clearly the best rap group of all time. If only rap was still this good and didnt sell out.

I been listenin to bone since creepin on a come up they jus keep gettin better i think this is they last best album resurection was ok but after that they lost it but they old music is always gon be the best..Thug Life Baby!!
