So he did time in Menudo, so what? He was young and impressionable. You don't hold New Edition against Bobby Brown, do you? The point is that Ricky Martin is a fully-realized, mature artist who has a lot to offer to the world of Latin music. VUELVE shows the range of Martin's talents, from the propulsive Latin rhythms of "Por Arriba, Por Abajo" and "Lola, Lola" to the Anglicized power balladry of the title track, with plenty of stops in between. Somehow, it all fits together seamlessly. One of the reasons may be the economy of the tunes; Martin likes 'em short and sweet, and nothing on VUELVE sticks around long enough to wear out its welcome.

Great spanish (latin) sound along with a guest appearance from the gypsy kings. The slow songs are a little slow for my taste, but overall, an excellent CD.

Heard it first at my 16/17.Now I'm 20..& In between the years have listened to the album almost every week! Perdido Sin Ti gives simply an exquisite touch of heaven, heavenly love. Vuelve is incomparable! Corazonado is brilliant! Love the Marcia Baila & Por Arriba, Por Abaho rhythms..! They make my heart dance!! Asi Es la Vida is amazing, sadly lovable..Gracias Por Pensar en Mi is encouraging! & The rest too, are brilliant & help to make the whole album an ultimate alltime Latin Pop classic ...!

Vuelve is an absolutely SOBRESALIENTE album. I love the language, the culture, everything! This has got to be one of Ricky's best. I love it and I listen to it every day!
