Sound of motorfinger in the garden Chris cornell is the great vocalist and Soundgarden might be the reincarnation of modern sabbath today !
Listen to the songs like slaves & buldozer, rusty cage and outshined...

pretty darn good this is pretty good, even though i personally like what some call the more poppy "superunknown" album a little better because it has some good songs that didnt get radio play. this album came out before the grunge explosion (circa september/october 1991) and like all grunge, sounds different from every other band in the movement, and isnt just the same old same old. i think some of these songs are a little to trash metal, which i dont like because the guitar really doesnt have a great tune, like jesus christ pose. im not a real big fan of that song, but the songs i do like are tracks 2,3,5,7,11. track 8 ant bad either. towards the end of the album they start bustin out the brass instruments, and, bear with me here, the combo of cornell's voice and the brass section almost remind me of the band blood sweat and tears. yeah this is very unique of them to have brass instruments, because most grunge bands didnt stray from the guitar, bass, drums line up unless they were going unplugged (accordion on "jesus don't want me for a sunbeam, harmonica on some alice and chains unplugged stuff) but these guys did and that deserves a thumbs up. sounds cool. good band, decent album, i promise it ant a waste of your money. Classic albulm, soundgardens best wow what an albulm! straight from the outset you are hit with rusty cage which is a brilliantly crafted song (cheack johny cash's cover) one of the best bands to come out of the early 90's, in my opinion this albulm is as good as any of there contemparys at the time and stands up to nevermind as one the best albulms of the early 90's Submitted by mrbaron168 (East London) Was This Review Helpful? A Grunge classic Badmotorfinger is unlike any other rock album I've ever heard. It's awsome. Better than anything thats out today. This album stands out in my mind as one of Soundgarden's best efforts, I've been rockin' out this album for many years, it is definately one of the best albums of 1991, along with Nirvana's Nevermind. Badmotorfinger is a classic for any fan of the grunge era. Submitted by Ryan (Middletown, Ohio) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
