Best of all of their albums
I'd have to say this is the best cd i have heard in a long time! There is not one song that i don't like on the whole album. I would reccomend this cd to anyone who likes stp and hasn't heard this album or if you like good Rock music.

Near perfect.
Wow, I got this recently and within the first week I've listened to it about three times. I honestly never knew about Stone Temple Pilots or when they started, and the fact that I've considered myself a huge fan of grunge music really has kind of taken a hurt from this ignorance. I like this album more than anything that Soundgarden, for example, has put out, and I really consider it on par with grunge classics like Nevermind, Ten, and Dirt. If you haven't heard or paid any attention to STP, I highly suggest looking into this CD if no others. It's got like, five radio singles on it and definitely no filler material, as well as a natural flow that tends to be the mark of a well-constructed album. It will be right at home in most rock fan's collections.

One of the best
This is one of the greatest albums released in the 90s among the hype of Smashing pumpkins and nirvana. This is just downright raw power with mesmorising riffs that will rock you to your core. Go get it now - dont wait another second

"Classic Grunge"
This album is a classic! Period. Every song is great. STP showed us that you didn't have to be from Seattle to make great Grunge music. I'll name a couple albums that this one is right there in the mix with...Nirvana's "Nevermind", Alice In Chains "Dirt", Pearl Jam's "Ten"..And don't deny it that those 3 I mentioned weren't classics! If you don't like those albums, you don't like Grunge. Ok, back to "Core"..Core is the album where Scott Weiland sounded the best. If you listen to Tiny Music, No. 4, and Shangri-La Dee Da, his voice isn't as powerful. Did you notice I left out Purple? That's because Purple was also a classic and Scott's voice sounds just as good as in Core. This album is a must have for any STP fan. Hey, don't go out and buy No.4 before you get Core. I'm saying that because I don't know why sales of No.4 are higher on here than Core. Before I finish this, I wanna say congrats to Scott for kicking his addiction, and thank you for leaving us with great rock music. Buy Core! Start here, and work your way up to Shangri-La Dee Da..Hell, if you're a STP fan buy the whole discography!!

The only STP album that is good
In my opinion this is the only STP album you need...they have a few other songs, but nothing close to this album. It is their best by far
