Throughout their history, they've undergone numerous lineup changes, but this album ... Full Descriptionfeatured the "classic" formation responsible for their absolute finest achievements. Here Rick Wakeman is at his Moog-goes-Baroque best behind the keyboards, Steve Howe sounds like a blues guitarist from Mars, Chris Squire delivers confoundingly contrapuntal bass lines, and Bill Bruford seemingly solves complex mathematical equations from his drum stool. The lion's share of the album is occupied by the title track, a complex piece that moves through numerous modes and moods. BILLY BAND has completed his CD after a five-year journey. It all began with my New Years resolution of 2003. You see I had been writing songs for years and years. I always knew in my heart these tunes were good, real good. Anyway, I just had an overwhelming need to finally take myself out of my little music room and bring these songs out into the real world. I bought myself a new six string and started playing open mics. I did that for two years once sometimes twice a week.
