Six of the Best Milton Keynes 10/2/82 Reunion show?
Genesis actually did a reunion show during the ABACRAP tour that included Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett and NO they never play anything off that disgraceful album. It's too bad they didn't include that here!

Bruford rocked!
Bill Bruford rocked. He rocked with Yes, King Crimson, and now with Genesis!!! Genesis had good taste in drummers!!! At least for Seconds Out!

3 Sides Live & 1 Side Gone
It's a great cd , but the lp version had a 4th side with all new studio songs. They were not put on to this CD when it was released. If any CD needed remastering with the missing tracks, It is this one.
And where is that Spot The Pigeon CD?

Another Great Live Release!
Another Classic Live Album. The lives albums got better, the further away they got from Gabriel's shadow.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Following the success of their first double live LP, "Seconds out", Genesis decided to repeat the exercise. However, by this time the band had become a commercial pop group, and the finished product, "Three sides live" is something of a mish-mash.
The later material does not sit comfortably with the classic prog rock tunes, indeed "In the cage", "Cinema show" "IT" and "Watcher of the skies" from yesteryear are reduced to medley form.
However, "The Fountain of Salmacis" appears in its' entirety and is excellent, and the "Behind the lines" and "Duchess" tunes from the "Duke" LP are of the same high standard.
This album marks the uneasy transition from prog-rock to throwaway pop tunes.
