nice follow up to Rumours
it's very different sound for Fleetwood Mac. Lindsay Buckingham really took over in the studio and it says it all over this album.

Buckingham/ Nicks influence on MAC
The influence of B & N definitely changes the sound of Fleetwood Mac. I do prefer the albums with their conributions (sorry for the die hard FMAC fans)on it. Great sound, extra long album. This is a must have for all fans, especially of B & N . Enjoy!!

awesome
I am simply 29 years late. I remember looking at this great cover when Tusk was released and wondered what kind of band that was. Well, being 14 years of age, you can't blame me for that. Fast foward....I got the double vinyl record set last week (vinyl, yeah!) and was STUNNED at what I heard. Tusk still sounbs fresh after all these years. If you really like good music, you can't miss this one!

Tusk, still great after 20 years of listening!
I first bought a copy of Tusk 20 years ago in '79, having just cottoned on to Rumours two years too late!
As a University music graduate I am forever struck by the way that all of the Mac menbers can ring sung beauty out of 2 or 3 chords. They have been using the same ones for so long but they never dissappoint, particularly Stevie.
Sisters of the Moon uses her classic 3 chord rotation around a minor chord chord stepping down to the 2 major chords below and back but oh those ghostly harmonies that are just hanging over the chords! Lindsey copmpletes the magic with a long screaming note on the guitar that just hangs there as the chords change.Heaven. I only wish that the CD contained the full version of Sara as the original album did as it is again a classic example of Stevies' ability to ring the most out of a very simple set up.
Here's to the new Lindsey album and a new Mac studio album, hint, hint.

One of the all time greats!
This album is one of the all time greats. It is probably the best album that this band put out.
