Station Man, Jewel Eyed Judy, Tell Me all The Things You Do These songs are incredible. Danny Kirwan out front. Writing, lead guitar, singing. Kiln House, Future Games, Bare Trees contain some of the best rock ever recorded.

2 stars strange F MAC effort
i have to say---about this release--it's a strange one. i LOVE all the F Mac eras--they can really play well in the different lineups---but here,i only can dig STATION MAN.the other tunes are kinda listless and meandering.i'd get Mystery to me,or....another MAC cd before this.Especially as an introduction to the band.....

One of the best of Fleetwood Mac's pre "yuppie" era. Good solid rock. A rare find on CD. Great Stuff!

5 stars One of my favorie albums EVER
This is really happy music, I've worn out my vinyl, but I don't know what I would do without a version with all the familiar skips and pops. Jeremy Spencer really shines here, 40 years befor his 2006 release: "Precious Little". Check it out, it's a gem.

5 stars Rare Fleetwood Mac Find......
I bought Kiln House when I first heard it, besides a few non-luster tracks, This ALbum rocked! The dual guitar work(minus Leader Peter Green) surprised and delighted me. Fleetowd Mac has gone through alot of personel changes over the years, yeilding many different flavors of music along the way. If you have never heard this collection, by all means its worth every penny!

1973 was a busy year for Fleetwood Mac, who continued to ply a mix of California country rock and blues at a time when glam ruled the roost in England. PENGUIN was one of two albums recorded that year and the band's first since parting ways with Danny Kirwan. Replacing him were English guitarist Bob Weston and singer Dave Walker, who the Mac stole from Savoy Brown after an American tour with that band. Due to a fair amount of drunk and disorderly behavior in the studio, Walker's contributions were minimal.
