Good old days
I wore out my vinyl copy back when turn tables were still around. "This Is The Rock" was one of our party anthems.

Criminally Overlooked offering from The Mac
This release is admittedly a mixed-bag of musical styles. It therefore took a straight-ahead rocker like me some time to get used to, nevertheless it is one of those records that grows on you and then stays. "Jewel Eyed Judy" was all over the airwaves in 1970. I remember being absolutely transfixed by it, as well as the album's other standout cuts, "Station Man" and "Tell Me All The Things You Do." If ever there was a bypassed record that deserved the deluxe digipack treatment with a second CD of jams, rehearsals, outtakes, and live versions, this is it. These four guys apparently smoked quite a lot of hash during the recording of this album. While I do not approve, and while I have no doubt they were quite impaired, I still believe they must have laid down a wealth of backup material that is still sitting in the vaults.

strange F MAC effort
i have to say---about this release--it's a strange one. i LOVE all the F Mac eras--they can really play well in the different lineups---but here,i only can dig STATION MAN.the other tunes are kinda listless and meandering.i'd get Mystery to me,or....another MAC cd before this.Especially as an introduction to the band.....

When music was REAL!
One of the best of Fleetwood Mac's pre "yuppie" era. Good solid rock. A rare find on CD. Great Stuff!
