Not having the mega-multi-million sales of RUMOURS allows this record greater credibility--the listener has the choice of discovering it. A worthy album, late in their career, many million miles away from the monster Peter Green created. It ... Full Descriptionshowed a much happier and cleaner Fleetwood Mac, having put much of their emotional baggage in the cupboard. Some of their strongest material is found here, Lindsey Buckingham's ambitious "Big Love," Christine's beautiful "Everywhere" and close second "Little Lies." Reappraising this record gives you a further chance to work out whether a rude word is repeated throughout "Family Man".
Recorded at The Slope, Bel Air, California in 1986.
Fleetwood Mac: Lindsay Buckingham (vocals, guitar, keyboards); Christine McVie (vocals, piano); Stevie Nicks (vocals); John McVie (bass); Mick Fleetwood (drums, percussion).
Hide Description Fleetwood Mac Tango In The Night Songs Tango In The Night Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews One of My CD Essentials I got this album the first time round at a very tender age, so my appreciation for it is multifaceted. Back before I was truly into the band, I just played the Hell out of the cassette.
After some years without it in my collection and an attack of nostalgia, I repurchased it. Like an old pair of shoes, it's quality and familiarity can't be ignored.
I know die hard fans might not agree, but it was a fine enough release considering the time period during which it was recorded. Give it a listen and see how it grabs you! Submitted by Sarah (Kalamazoo, MI) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
VINTAGE MAC!!!! THIS IS THE BEST F.M. ALBUM OUTSIDE OF RUMORS. THE VOCAL HARMONIES ARE UNMATCHED BY ANY ROCK AND ROLL BAND. CHRISTINE MCVIE IS BY FAR THE BEST FEMALE VOCALIST IN THE EIGHTIES, I WISH SHE WAS'NT SO HARD TO WORK WITH. LINDSAY IS ON TOP OF HIS GAME, IF YOU LIKE GUITAR WORK, STUDY THIS GUY - YOU WILL LEARN ALOT. THIS ALBUM IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY PERSON WHO ENJOYS GREAT ROCK AND ROLL HARMONIES WITH INCREDIBLE LYRICS~!!! Submitted by jsonoqui (Huntington Beach California) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

since the '70s, Tango In The Night is
my favorite album. Some of their best
work can be found here. From the top 40
successes of Big Love,Little Lies,
and Everywhere,to songs that weren't
played on the radio(Family Man,Mystified) My most favorite song
on Tango In The Night is the beautiful
Mystified, with lead vocals by Christie McVie. A must have c.d. for any Mac fan! Submitted by a reviewer (Dallas,TX) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
~Tango the remixes all 4 of the 12"x12" Vinyl Tango in the Night for sure it was and will be a good concept album one of the best the type of album you don't find much of these days.
For me it was the remixes.
~Tango in the Night remixes four 12"x12" Vinyl mixes by Jellybean that laid hidden behind the walls of this album if you were lucky enough like myself to have come across them then it made the experience all the better for yourself like it did for me. | | Fleetwood Mac Tusk CD (1979)
Tango In The Night CD music
$8.49 No home should be without at least one copy of TUSK. Fleetwood Mac's magnum opus of 1979 is considered by some to be their greatest work. And while you are probably familiar with the hits, you may not realize that this recording is full of gems like Christine McVie's gorgeous "Brown Eyes" and Lindsey Buckingham's rousing and infectious "I Know I'm Not Wrong." Of course, even the Nikei industrial average would sound beautiful if it were sung with Christine's ...
| | Fleetwood Mac Mirage CD (1982)
Tango In The Night music CDs
$10.15 After the 1979 release of the precocious but misunderstood double album TUSK, which fell disappointingly below the mind-blowing sales of 1977's multi-platinum RUMOURS, the band decided to take a safer route for their next release. In sunny contrast to the melancholy introspection of TUSK, 1982's MIRAGE returned the band to bright melodies and hit single material. The advent of MTV led the band to release two artistic videos in conjunction with the record, the Magritte-inspired desert fantasy of "Hold Me," Christine McVie's lush, pleading love song, and the handsome, Depression-era daydream of "Gypsy," one of Nicks' prettiest signature tunes.
The jangling bonhomie of MIRAGE even affects Buckingham's darker songs; though lyrically heartbroken, on "Book of Love" Buckingham sounds almost cheerful. His husky "Empire State" is a love-giddy ...
| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Tango In The Night songs
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering ...

Tango In The Night album
$11.45 Recorded live at the Berkeley Community Theatre, Berkeley, California on May 30, 1970. Includes liner notes by John McDermott.
While there's certainly no shortage of posthumous Jimi Hendrix concert recordings running the gamut in terms of quality, this one is something special. It captures Hendrix in a period of transition. He was ready to start a new chapter, having no way of knowing he'd be dead in a matter of months. After his ...
