Provision expands the frothy, synthesized blue-eyed soul of Cupid & Psyche 85 by emphasizing the bouncy, mechanical dance-pop rhythms and creating lush backing tracks with layers of keyboards. To be certain, it's a pleasant listen, and several tracks are pretty entertaining, but the music is so lightweight and Green Gartside's voice is so thin that the album virtually disappears into thin air, leaving behind no impression. Great followup from "Cupid..
Provision songs After waiting 3 years for a followup record since cupid & Psyche 85 expectations were high - very high. Could they match that record ? Well to be honest no - but that would be too much to expect - would�nt it. But this is still a GREAT album and have some of my favorite SP tracks: Boom ... , Best thing ever, Bam salute & Sugar and spice as the stongest in my opinion. If you liked Cupid ... you wont be dissapointed.

Much Better CD than Earlier Release
British band formed in 1977, new wave/pop music. Tunes good for workouts. Performs the track "Best Thing Ever" on the "Who's That Girl?" movie soundtrack. Band still sounds good two decades later!
