David Lynch's surreal take on the film noir murder-mystery springs to haunting life in TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME, the 1992 prequel film to the cult television series, as scored by Grammy Award winner Angelo Badalamenti. The soundtrack accentuates Lynch's noir theme with a smooth integration of several jazz styles, including hard bop, bebop, swing, cool, and modal jazz. Badalamenti's characteristically dark and moody themes are realized with the help of a roster of renowned session musicians, including tenor saxophonist Albert Regni, vibraphonist Jay Hoggard, bassist Buster Williams, guitarist Myles Boisen, percussionists Donald Bailey and Grady Tate, and the great vocalist Jimmy Scott.

5 stars another great twin peaks soundtrack
This is a excellent soundtrack. very easy to listen to,there is more vocals on this cd then the orginal soundtrack. any twin peaks fan will love this.

5 stars Simply Brilliant
This is still one of my favorite CDs almost 15 years after its release. Such beautiful music - haunting, heartbreaking, funny, scary. Even if you haven't seen the movie you can enjoy all the tracks here. I love Badalamenti's themes for the original TV series but that soundtrack could get a little repetitive after awhile. Not so this CD. If you like the music from the "Twin Peaks" TV show or any of Badalamenti's other scores, you definitely need to check this out. 5 very strong stars!
