Dire Straits CD

 The best came first.
Another BRILLIANT album...Dire Straits became the band that everyone loved to hate mainly because every track from the later "Brothers in arms" LP was played to death on the radio. However, long before that recording hit the streets, Dire Straits were an unknown band with an unknown debut album floating in the new-wave-post-punk sea of 1978. The track "Sultans of swing" became a big hit for the band, but that is not the best track...oh no no no. Check out "Water of love", "Down to the waterline", "Six blade knife" and all the other tunes. I'll say it again... BRILLIANT.

 Forget the rest.This is the best.
Great songs.Great music.I play it all the time.That's saying a lot coming from an old blues man[fan].

 Outstanding
I had this many years ago on a long gone cassette tape. Very happy to find it on CD, Dire Straits at their best.
