In the comedy LITTLE NICKY, Adam Sandler plays the son of Satan (but with considerably more comic aplomb than THE EXORCIST's Damien). With heavy metal's enduring "satanic stigma," it's fitting that this devilishly funny movie should have a soundtrack dominated by heavy music. All corners of modern hard rock are represented here, from the spiritual rap-rock of P.O.D. ("School Of Hard Knocks"), the swelling dynamics of Deftones ("Change (In The House Of Files)") to the futuristic techno-grind of Powerman 5000 ("When World's Collide"). A special mix of Disturb's "Stupify" sounds eerily like a blend of Nine Inch Nails and Korn. Newcomers Linkin Park offers "Points Of Authority," while Muse's melodic mid-tempo crunch dominates in "Cave."
