Three Dog Night
This CD is great! It really takes you back in time. The music sounds just like it did on the radio years ago. I'm impressed with the way CD Universe handled my order too! Very efficient.

Great
I`ve only heard a couple of tracks on this album before, but the rest is just fine.
You even like them better and better every day.

Great Singers - Greater Drummer
This is one of the last LPs' I bought before things went CD - I was looking for a definitive collection and this smacked the ball out of the park.
We all know that they came over as a singles band best, and I won't fight that because there are at least 17 bonafide hits here, however,I'd like to comment on the musicianship these guys had...in a word : superb.
Remarkably, they weren't writers but neither was Elvis.I say 'remarkably' because they sure made us forget who the writers were or go seek the writers in their original forms. Can there be a better win-win scenario ?
I headlined this by stating that the singers were great, and so the band was aptly named-but for me it was the incomparable drumming of Floyd Sneed that made people get up and dance, then run to the stores to buy the single ( and these guys had possibly more top 10 hits than any other artists from 70-75). I'd like to make one final comment about Sneed's drumming - it simply pre-dates reggae, ska, and disco in the U.S.and Canada, and influences rock and pop in its'own right. The syncopation he deployed was unheard of - enjoy the singing, while you marvel at the drumming.
