Always... Patsy Cline Soundtrack CD

 Fabulous! Mandy Barnett IS Patsy Cline!
This is a soundtrack to the now classic stage show that is told from the perspective of Patsy's friend Louise. It is chock full of Patsy classics and Barnett's delivery is dead on. It is eery how much like Patsy she sounds. This may not be for all Patsy fans and there are plenty of cds of Patsy's here in CD Universe for those who just want to hear Patsy. Hard core fans, however, will want to add this to their collections just to get a taste of Mandy Barnett, who also has 2 cds of her own that are worth finding. Great soundtrack from a great show!! Highly recommended!

 This CD Is Not What You May Think
Although there is nothing to warn the purchaser otherwise, this is not a collection of Patsy Cline's performances. Apparently, it is a tribute performed by a stand-in who sings (or perhaps plays taped tracks) and interrupts them with inane dialogue and gigling. If what you want is a stagey imitation Cline and a lot of twaddle, go ahead. Otherwise, let the buyer beware.
