By 1967, King had refined his singing and guitar style (which were always intertwined) to a fine point. What was just beginning to emerge during this period was King the showman, the singer with a story to tell his audience; sometimes a sad ... Full Descriptionstory, sometimes an angry one, occasionally even a downright mean one. Nowhere was this more apparent than in live performance. Here he's captured in concert in Chicago, home of the blues and the ideal place to testify to the congregation. From "Tired of Your Jive" to "I Know What You're Puttin' Down" to the unequivocal "Baby Get Lost," B.B. lets his audience in on the ups and downs of romance in no uncertain terms, both through his impassioned vocals and characteristically stinging guitar. The effect is both cathartic and awe-inspiring.
Recorded live in Chicago on November 5, 1966. Originally released on Bluesway (6001) in September 1967. Includes original release liner notes by Stanley Dance.
Live Recording
Personnel: B.B. King (vocals, guitar); Kenneth Sands (trumpet); Bobby Forte (tenor saxophone); Duke Jethro (organ); Louis Satterfield (bass); Sonny Freeman (drums).

| | B B King Indianola Mississippi Seeds CD (1970)
Blues Is King CD music
$5.05 The years 1969 and 1970 were busy ones for B.B. King. When he wasn't playing one of his 300-plus gigs, King was in the studio laying down tracks that included "The Thrill Is Gone," his only Top 20 hit. 1970's INDIANOLA MISSISSIPPI SEEDS was a record that fit in well with the musical climate of the time. Up and coming artists such as Carole King and Leon Russell contributed their talents to these predominantly B.B. King-penned numbers.
The female King plays piano throughout, giving "You're Still My Woman" an Aretha Franklin flavor whereas "Until I'm Dead And Cold" is infused with a sanctified air thanks to her playing and the inclusion of a brassy horn section. No slouch on the eighty-eights himself, Russell (along with a then unknown Joe Walsh) provides funky accompaniment on "Ask Me No Questions" and the instrumental "King's Special." The blues legend himself lays Lucille aside long enough to give himself solo piano ...

Blues Is King CD music
$11.49 Keith Zizza has been a professional recording musician since 1991. In that time, millions of unique listeners have heard Keith's orchestral and new age compositions in the world of electronic entertainment. His instrumental compositions are distinct, accessible, and very emotional. They are typically set in an orchestral realm with a blend of complex world rhythms, haunting melodies, sweeping passages, and tasteful synthesizer elements. Zizza's debut CD, Memories of a Forgotten Age, was released in May of 2008. Other recent soundtracks include:• SimCity Societies (2007-8) for EA Games • Making History: The Calm and the Storm (2007) for Strategy First Games• Caesar IV (2006), for Vivendi Universal Games, and Universal Production Music Library • Children of the Nile (2004), for SEGA/Myelin Media__________________________________________________________Liner Notes from the Album:In 2006 I had an idea to compose a body of work set in a fantasy genre. I enjoyed writing the soundtrack to Sierra's Lords of Magic back in 1997, and so I thought about recapturing some of the "feel" of those musical ideas here. Initially the work was supposed to take a year to complete. But having my full-time duties as Audio Director for Tilted Mill Entertainment - and surviving a heart transplant in 2007 - it would ultimately take two years of my spare time before this album was completed. A very personal labor of love, Memories of a Forgotten Age aspires to conjure up fantastic images ...
