The Corn Sisters are Neko Case and Carolyn Mark, a couple of alternative rock converts to traditional country music. (Case has two very fine albums on Bloodshot). Like most converts, they're pretty zealous, but with their excellent voices, harmonies, warmth, and humor, the Corn Sisters are way out in front of most of their alt country peers.
